How to Compress PDF

Large PDF files are difficult to share via email or upload to portals. The Compress PDF tool reduces file size while preserving readability:

1. Upload your PDF file to the Compress tool.
2. Optionally set a target size (e.g., 500 KB or 2 MB).
3. Click "Compress PDF".
4. The tool optimises the internal structure and image quality to reduce size.

What gets compressed:

• Internal object streams are rewritten more efficiently
