By accessing and using DocConvert (docconvert.online), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this site.

Description of Service

DocConvert provides free and premium online tools for:

• Image resizing, compression, and format conversion
• Government application form photo preparation (passport, SSC, banking, railway, UPSC, MPSC)
• Signature resizing and compression for online forms
• PDF merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, and editing
• PDF to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and image conversion
• Background removal, photo enhancement, and collage creation
• OCR (Optical Character Recognition) for scanned documents

Our browser-based tools process files locally on your device without uploading them to any server. Premium cloud tools require account creation and may use daily credits.

User Accounts

Some features of DocConvert require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your login credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behaviour.

Free Credits and Premium Plans

DocConvert provides 3 free cloud processing credits per day for registered users. Premium subscription plans offer unlimited cloud conversions and additional features.

• Free credits reset every 24 hours at midnight UTC
• Unused free credits do not carry over to the next day
• Premium subscriptions are billed through Razorpay and renew automatically
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the current billing period ends
• Refunds are available within 7 days of a charge if no cloud credits were used during that period

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DocConvert to:

• Upload, convert, or process illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content without authorisation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, databases, or other users' accounts
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the website's functionality or performance
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
• Use the service for commercial bulk processing without a premium subscription
• Circumvent daily credit limits or abuse the free tier

Intellectual Property

All content on DocConvert, including text, graphics, logos, code, and software, is the property of DocConvert and protected by Indian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

You retain full ownership of any files you upload to or process through our tools. We do not claim any rights to your content.

Disclaimer of Warranties

DocConvert is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of conversion results
• Uninterrupted or error-free service availability
• The suitability of converted files for any specific purpose
• Compatibility with all browsers, devices, or file formats

Important: Always verify converted photos and documents against the official requirements of the organisation or form you are applying to. DocConvert is an independent utility and is not affiliated with any government department, examination board, or recruitment agency.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocConvert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use or inability to use our services
• Any errors or inaccuracies in converted files
• Loss of data resulting from using our tools
• Rejection of uploaded photos or documents by third-party portals
• Service interruptions or technical failures

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Third-Party Links and Services

DocConvert may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (Google, Adobe, Razorpay, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these external services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of DocConvert after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of DocConvert shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra, India.
